I decided yesterday I would go to the park, sit on a bench and DRAW SOMETHING FORCIBLY! This is the result after about two hours of sitting there getting run into by tricycles >.<

This is a HEAVILY stylized version of Lyman and Clarity. I haven't done this in a while..

My style is ever changing because I'm still trying to create my own "style"... I have a style for original art, I have a style for more anime related things... I really just want to pin down one thing and call it good >>

And for all those who question if I'm just copying styles and none of my work is really my OWN, buzz the fuck off, k? I've become increasingly frustrated with my own results and with people asking me if I copied it some where... NO NO NO! Way back in the day, I would ref pictures because I still learning to DRAW, let alone create a style... I'm going to attend an arts college where people had years of classical visual art training and I truly do lack, but I don't need 12-year-old wanna-be's telling me that. I'm a ballet and modern DANCER by training, not a reincarnation of Da Vinci. I'm already lacking the confidence as an artist both visual and as a dancer. I don't need anyone else telling me how talentless I am. Excuse me, but I had to work 12 long years to get to where I am as a dancer and I'm willing to work even longer to become a better artist. I wasn't born with talent.


god, I'm sorry for the rant... maybe I should STFU and let you continue with your life >.< anyway...

Well... I think those people ask you if you copied it somewhere because they think it looks so amazing that you can't have drawn it on your own... of course on the first view that looks like an UTTER insult to you as an artist but... on the second... it is an EXTREMELY big compliment to your art... they think it's amazing, they think it's great, they think it's something from one of those well payed artists... so they think it is worth a lot of money... (okay now I'm taking it a bit far but oh well)...

I can only say, your drawings have changed a lot and a lot more to the positive, they are more anatomically correct and the bodies are smoother... However you did NOT loose that warm expression in your pictures that I tried to describe once ^^

Honey dearest, I have known you FOREVER and I must say, truely and from the bottom of my heart, you have improved vastly! I have too! Thats how we grow. Personally, I see more of "a different/your style" in the more recent pictures and less of the "anime copied" style and must say I am very impressed. My humans still look cartoony, yours look actually human.

Bravo!
