WHAT!!! SQUEEEEE!!!!!
I've never had a subscription before!!!!! I better take advantage of the three months I have!

I have to thank :iconnekagi: for this wonderful gift. If I could afford it, I would buy you one!!!!! But because I am a poor college student, you get a couple of free sketches and a nice finished drawing for your kindness! You obviously made my day! Nay, you made my month! !!!!

Besides having my day made, christmas was pretty enjoyable except for the aunt being in the hospital for chemo thing.
I made off with a shiny new sewing machine which means I am fully prepared for Anime Central Con in Chicago in May!
I hope you all, my lovely friends had a wonderful holiday!


My semester is over and I passed with straight A's for my first semester of college! Not too shabby ^^ My scanner is in my apartment in Chicago and since I'm home in Colorado for the next month, you'll be seeing more digital work since I have nothing but time on my hands! When I get back to school, I promise to scan in some of my first semester college work (Including my art trade, with :iconperytiion: :P ^^; I'm planning on seeing Nine and Sherlock Holmes while I'm home as well!

Give me a little bit while I mess around with my new found subbie abilities ^^

Is fan art Plagiarism??

Here's my task for you, my fellow otakus of the world:
Consider what forms fan art takes (i.e. drawings, sculptures, doujins, cosplay, fan fictions, ect ect.)
Should someone be able to make a profit from selling art in which the subject isn't their own?
Is fan art a learning tool for improving one's own style or just plain copying?
Take into consideration all this and anything else you can think of and give me your well informed opinion.
I need it! Really, I do. (for school)

Answer it and pass on this annoying conundrum to your fellow otaku and force them to answer. You would be surprised how contradicting truths to this can be! You will be contradicting yourself!

Note me or post your response here or even in a Deviation of your own! I crave your response and also kind of need it to do my study.
(and in a timely manner please!)
If I like what you say or draw, I will some how work it into my final project and you will be loved by many students here. (Yes I will credit you and no, you don't get paid but by kindness)

Yeah, so here I am in my apartment at 9 at night with make-up on, costume on and ready to go and I've been waiting for my roommate to come back for over an hour to go to a party...... She left. She all out ditched me on Halloween. So now I'm still sitting in my apartment, make-up on, costume on and watching re-runs of NCIS... alone.
No directions to this party and no candy or food of my own to just start my own party. besides, no one likes me here. Grand, what an awesome Halloween this turned out to be.

Happy fucking Halloween.

College is...... college. I really can't complain. My dorm apartment has a kitchen and a living room, TV and all the shiz I need to live a modest college life with a roommate that is opposite than me in every single way possible and a thermostat that doesn't go above 45 degrees. Not so bad really.

Classes are great and I somehow enjoy math again. Dance is f'ing amazing and I love ballet like I used to when I was little. Anime club rules and I'll get a paid-for pass to Anime Central Con 2010 (not bad either, but I won't jinx it). Met a guy or two. Both have glasses (of course).

All this and I miss home terribly. So friends of mine, if you're ever in my town text me or call me. I'll cook dinner ^.^

I have at least 5 pieces to upload tomorrow for you all to see! UPDATES!!!!!! WOOOO!

ok, its saturday night and I'm watching NCIS on tv. I have no life but that's not a change. I have the apartment to myself for the weekend, so this set up is totally fine.

Leaving for college at 0' Dark Thirty

I won't be updating for a bit (not that I have actually updated in FOREVER!) But I leave for Columbia College of Chicago in the morning at 4:30. Wish me luck.
Scared as fuck and oober reluctant to leave home, but I need to start a new life (not that I want to) Good bye life I loved so much...
We have weeks of welcome until next monday so I might come up with some pieces during that time because of my non-socialness.
See you in my new dorm!


AHHH I won't get my manga collection in the mail til thursday!!!!!! Death!!!!
